Superhero movies have dominated the box office ever since Iron Man first hit theaters in 2008. Its success has led to summers filled with both Marvel and DC films that have generated billions of dollars for the comic book corporations. But, storylines have run their course, so 2016 is the year of the superhero civil war battle and the fight begins with Batman Vs. Superman.
Both stars of the film, Henry Cavil and Ben Affleck, have taken to YouTube to campaign for their superhero characters and see which titan fans think will prevail. Recently, Ben Affleck (who is playing Batman) surprised groups of tourists at the Warner Bros Studio lot by hiding in his very own Batmobile from the set.
The video works like a hidden camera show where Affleck hides until fans start to argue that Superman will, in fact, beat Batman in the film. At the right moment, Ben appears out of nowhere, like a true Dark-Knight, and happily banters with fans about Batman’s potential triumph over Superman. One woman is so puzzled by the event that she actually can’t believe it’s the real Ben and moves in to touch his face for proof.
Take a look at the video and share it with your friends to see if Ben’s confidence in Batman is enough to beat Superman.
