If you want to keep something in good condition, don’t bring it around children.
An artist named Mr. Zhao learned this lesson the hard way, and had his $15,000 masterpiece destroyed…accidentally, of course.
Zhao spent three days and nights creating a LEGO sculpture of the character “Nick” from the film Zootopia.
After the masterpiece was complete, Zhao brought “Nick” to the LEGO Exhibit in Beijing, China. “Nick” stood tall for about one hour on the first day of the exhibit, but then his existence came to a screeching halt when a little boy accidentally knocked him over.
Thousands of little LEGO pieces came crashing down, and so did the $15,000 value that was placed on “Nick.”
Mr. Zhao did not comment on the situation, but he seems to be in good spirits. There’s no use crying over spilled milk, or LEGO’s, right?
